National Shramdaan Conference

Sakaar Sewa Samiti conducted the very first National Shramdaan Conference in Kashi. The venue was occupied by the delegates from all places. Pahal-ek-Prayas were the first ones to arrive and had an unmatchable zest.


Helping Hands

Many teams came up as Helping Hands such as Alwar from Alwar, Green Minds from Bhandara, I Act citizens group Mumbai, Mission Clean Jalandhar, Swarnarekha Utthan Samiti Ranchi, Team Pahal-Ek Prayas Meerut and Bhadohi, We mean to clean Delhi, Samartha Sanstha Farrukhabad, Team Naga Baba Dhaam from Ghazipur, Team Umeed from Ghazipur, Mavericks from Pune, Bunch of fools from Raipur, Samarpit Parivar Vidisha, Mission Parijat Varanasi, Tarun Ji from ITBP, Mukesh Pathak Ji, Ranjini Shivaswamy from Bangalore, Nikhil Nikunj from Muzaffarpur, Sunalini Mathew from New Delhi are amongst the few of them who took part in the conference.

Initiation of the Conference

Along with food and lodging, yoga classes were organized for the delegates to enhance interactions amongst themselves. Our special guest of honour for the occasion was Lt. Governor Puducherry, Kiran Bedi, who brought in tons of positivity and vitality. With pooled labours of our chief guest and Team HHA, the ambience remained stimulating. Our humble guest of honour flew all the way from Chennai- Mumbai- Varanasi to oblige us with her presence even for a few hours.She infused motivation in everyone, even talked to posted police officers regarding the Swachh Bharat Mission and encouraged them for further studies. She clicked pictures with everyone and promised to involve the teams in her future endeavours in Puducherry.

Presentation and the Conclusion

This was followed by a presentation by the groups, beginning with Pahal-ek-Prayas from Meerut. Later in the evening, everyone conversed about methods to increase Sakaar effectiveness. Remaining groups gave their presentation the next day. Kanwaldeep Singh, Sachin Bhuwalka, Kishore Lodha, talked about various topics, which was followed by Shramdaan anthem leading to the conference’s end.
